To have a safe and enjoyable walk, it is essential that you physically train during the months leading up to the event. Many walkers tell us their energy and discipline increase exponentially as they train for this event. Training consistently will not only get your body in shape, it will get your life in shape.
Here’s your chance to lace up your shoes and train for Challenge Walk MS!
These training walks are scheduled to be 10+ miles in length. At each of these walks there will be Chapter staff and volunteers present to support your walk. These walks are also a great time to receive more information about Challenge Walk MS and get personalized advice/training tips from fitness experts.
Each training walk has an open start time. Walk the entire training route (or as much as you wish to do); enjoy a bite to eat after the walk; and receive some great training and health-related information. Please email the Challenge Walk MS team at CapitalChallengeWalkMS@nmss.org if you would like to RSVP for one of these training walks.
